Pamela's Diner

Matt and I had Tuesday off from work so we decided to go out for brunch. It's been a while since we both had a week day off together. We decided to go to Pamela's Diner in Squirrel Hill, hoping there was not a line out the door since it was raining out...

We make our way down Murray Ave and get inside. The place is buzzing, we seat ourselves and start looking over the menu. Our waitress takes our order and I swear not even 5 minutes goes by and our food was brought to our table. Service was super fast!

Matt ordered the Tex Mex Omelet with wheat toast and lyonnaise potatoes.

 

I ordered the Spinach & Feta Omelet, English Muffin and the lyonnaise potatoes.

 Yes, no pancakes which they are know for but thats all the more reason to go back. The food was out of this world! The lyonnaise potatoes, were the best breakfast potatoes that I have ever had! No need to add salt or pepper, whatever they use in their secret recipe hits the spot!

Pamela's is a must go in my book! Just make sure to bring cash with you and if there is a line, it's worth the wait!
